Context

Designers and researchers needed ongoing support to grow their skills, navigate career paths, and contribute effectively to evolving company priorities. The challenge was to balance individual development with business and roadmap needs, while also strengthening shared design practices across disciplines.

My Role

Design Lead, responsible for coaching, mentorship, and capability building across a team of interaction designers and researchers

Design & Leadership Work
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Provided ongoing 1:1 coaching to support career growth, skill development, and performance
  • Skills & Learning Program: Designed a flexible learning framework aligned to both individual goals and company roadmaps
  • Workshops & Enablement: Created and facilitated recurring workshops to expand design thinking and cross-disciplinary understanding. Topics included systems thinking & omnichannel design, experience mapping, presentation skills, and critique frameworks
  • Design Culture Building: Introduced shared tools and rituals such as team reviews, conversation cafés, and critique practices (like Feedback Five!)
