HOW I WORK
Breathe.
Sometimes the first reaction isn’t the right reaction. I've learned to pause before responding and create space for others to do the same.
Emotional self-regulation isn’t soft. It's what keeps a team thinking clearly when the pressure is on.
Share, don’t spin.
With UX work, it can be easy to disappear into individual corners and rabbit holes. When the thinking stays hidden, everyone loses time. I make the work visible. Early, often, and before it’s perfect.
I timebox to prevent spiralling. I ask for help before I need it. The best teams I’ve been part of share before they’re ready. That’s how trust gets built.
Good enough isn’t.
This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about shooting beyond the expected. In craft, in standards, in the questions we ask before we start. It means saying out loud when something could be better, and caring enough to make it so.
I hold myself to this first. Then I create the conditions for everyone around me to do the same.
