Principles
People first.
Designing systems that support clarity, safety, and trust — so teams can do their best work without burning out.
I care about my team, the partners we collaborate with, and the customers who rely on the tools we create. I shape inclusive cultures with heart because people who feel like they belong, who feel supported, do their best work.
This looks like: well-supported onboarding, development plans mapped to clear career paths, regular 1:1s and coaching, plus time (and budget!) for fun and connection.
Design for change.
Creating flexible ways of working that adapt as priorities, teams, and constraints evolve.
The only constant is… well, you know. Businesses pivot, technology shifts (hello, AI), and design evolves. I create flexible scaffolding that adapts from today to tomorrow.
This means: decision-making tools over rigid processes, modular ways of working that scale with scope and timeline, time to explore new tools, and clear expectations around sharing learnings.
Make work better.
Reducing friction, ambiguity, and rework so work feels purposeful, not exhausting.
Because work shouldn’t suck. When it does, it’s usually because people are unclear about the why, what, or when—creating a lack of trust. I build bridges to shared understanding.
This looks like: facilitating workshops for cross-team alignment, coaching designers on responsibilities and expectations, making progress visible through proactive communication, and bringing partners into the design process via ideation sessions, open critiques, and lunch ’n learns.
